OMEGA

Omega watches were not always named Omega watches. The Swiss watch brand initially started under the name La Generale Watch Co., until 1903. That’s when Omega came into the picture, changing it to Louis Brandt et Frere - Omega Watch & Co. It took quite a while for it to become simply Omega SA in 1982. Omega watches proves it is a quality trusted watch brand in 1917 when Britain’s Royal Flying Corps decided Omega watches would be its official timekeepers for combat units. The United States did the same thing the following year in 1918. As if that wasn’t enough, the Olympic Games has made Omega watches the official timekeeping device since the year 1932. Omega watches have also made it’s fair share of appearances on the big screen in Hollywood.
